recently, there are a lot of investments scheme that were out like mushrooms in our place, they offer such too good to be true offers, like 30%, 40%, 50% even 100% monthly interest, and of course, a lot of people were buying it. the president of the country warned these schemes to stop it but they are so hardheaded and the time came that there was an order from the president given to police officers to stop the operation of all these schemes. and when it closed a lot of people were dismayed some got depressed, and there are even few who commit suicide because they lost a lot of money, coz for some have sold their properties to invest ... so sad to know, there are as well people uses this opportunity to get gain from other peoples trust.

@amitkokiladitya good for you then... i sometimes think about taking risk, but i have to consider and re consider it over and over and over again, until i just leave it behind that thought. lol

As my parents used to say, "If it's too good to be true it usually is." Lucrative schemes like you describe are easy to fall prey to, and even easier to loose your shirt over. My brother would pull schemes like that, and try pulling them on me. I wouldn't bite on the schemes so he would just steal the money from my wallet.

lol, somehow others did, they have a promo that for a week it's 100% and after that it be be 50%... it's their way of luring their prey lol.

Shortcuts are riskier and mostly painful people should know efforts×expectancy pays reward. Null effort null rewards!!!.

maybe there are some people wants to get rich quick and so they investing in that kind of bogus, so they don't have to work for it that lang and hard.

@margomyrrh Who would not like to earn easy money?
I think that everyone, despite having been taught like me that to have money you have to work and earn it with effort, you have always dreamed of being able to improve your economic condition immediately and easily. It is from there where the scammers are seized to harm the seized people.
For my part, I am always looking for options, taking accounts and analyzing opportunities to know if they are worth it or not. I analyze so much that I see it difficult for me to fall into one of these traps. Although one never knows.

i don't know, there are a lot of scammers who uses that bogus to entice people to get a lot of money from them.

I think that although the government is not to blame, it has a lot to do with this happening. Upon learning that such deceptive business exists, they must create a strong campaign to make people aware that it is a scam.
The scammers' argument will always be, that they did not force the people, so any crime is committed, the people invested because they wanted and that is the argument that must be broken before they deceive the trusted people.

yeah, but there are other people who are so hardheaded and still doing it investing their money to this and that because they get a lot in return and tell their friends that they get a lot of payment and this is good just want to share my blessings, and the friend will be enticed and of they go.
