Thanks to a local media report, a dog reunites with her owner

Even though I do not always agree with the news media due to the constant bombardment of negative news, from time to time, they will ask the public for help to reunite a lost pet with their owner. Case in point is a story from Saint Petersburg Florida where Ruth Williams who came from Tennessee to the Tampa region to pay her respects for someone close to her that passed away had hired a rent a car to go a local church with her pet Chihuahua named Joy who is nine years of age. When Ruth came out of the church to pay her respects to her loved one which was around 10 minutes, she was shocked to learn that someone stole her rent a vehicle that had her dog inside. Thanks to a local news alert, Joy was found in the backyard of a stranger who called the police to inform them about a dog that was lost in the backyard. The police contacted Ruth to ask her if the Chihuahua was her lost pet. When Ruth used an image of her lost pet, she was happy to reunite with her lost pet. Ruth with the help of her nephew was able to reunite with her pet as she was returning to Tennessee as she was leaving on an airplane ride. Whatever happened to the stolen vehicle remains a mystery at this time. y feeling is that the vehicle thief must have been scared to find out that the stolen vehicle was reported by the local news media to the local police who went looking for the stolen vehicle.
