There are so many persons who praise you and some criticise you. Who is better in your eyes.Someone has said" They praise me and make ass of me." Every ear wants to hear the praises only and nobody likes to hear dispraise. Rochefoucaould writes- A refusal of praise is desire to be praised twice. Some persons deserve but some persons don't deserve praise. Fuller says- Praise makes good men better and bad men worse. The women always like to be praised.They like only those persons most who praise their beauty. When none else praises ,some persons always praise themselves. There is a proverb- Letbanother man praise thee,and not thine own mouth. What do you think about it?
