So many of us know about Smoke Detectors and Carbon Monoxide detectors, Right? Or do we?
I just had someone call me, (I work at an answering service) and she said that her Carbon Monoxide detector was going off.
Okay that is pretty straight forward.
Then she asked me, "Should I move it by an open window?"
okay now I'm confused....
Then she says because it says on it if alarm sounds MOVE TO FRESH AIR....
I'm trying NOT to laugh at her now!
I had to tell her "NO, I think that means YOU move to fresh air.. not you move the item."
Do you KNOW what you should do when your carbon monoxide detector goes off.. do you know what it means?

first i have to make sure it's not a first of the season furnace fart.
then i'd open stuff and call the fire department.
