One of my employees are going to be married very soon and they're invited me to be part of there wedding and I'm not sure what gift I'm going to buy for them. Any suggestions?

Ask them what they need.

@IamKYLE They are just being difficult! Most couples have a wedding list. You'll just have to use your initiative and imagination, then. Are they setting up house? There's an awful lot of stuff one needs when making a new home.

Why knife? Is there a meaning about it?

@IamKYLE I think he means so that they can stab each other with it when things get heated! Dark humour! There is a superstition here that, if you give anyone a knife (of any kind) as a gift, they must always pay you something for it (a very small amount, like a penny or something), otherwise it's VERY unlucky!

@owlwings Right. It isn't a good joke. Right but knife isn't a good option

if they already have their own house and car, maybe a staycation/weekend stay at a hotel or resort? if that's too pricey, something for the house - a lamp? a painting?

@IamKYLE cash is more.practical because.based on mt experience, couples realy prefer such. for things in the house, our taste for.appliances is different from theirs so perhaps they would not appreciate it
