A Little Blip Of A Holiday!

This past week and over the weekend we took a little blip of a holiday to a destination just about 2 hours north of where we live. This short road trip took us to the bottom and Southern area of Georgian Bay which is a part of the Great Lakes. It also took us into some quaint and some other busy little towns. We went with our son who is looking for some property in which he can invest. Hopefully, he also can get a place that he can call a second home and where all our family can visit and help him maintain. The weather was wonderful and not too too hot which is a strain when you're travelling in a car. And we did see some initial properties as we enjoyed the ambience of the area. He got a good feel for the place and we felt every glimpse of that blue blue Georgian Bay water was a huge bonus! Northern and Central Ontario is full of many lakes and rivers but this one is so big, it almost looks like an ocean. There are lighthouses here and there which also add to the feel. Being near the water is everyones favourite place to be and it just never gets old- isn't that true! I enjoyed the break and look forward to when we will go back to that area again to have another look as well as travel to a few other spots he is planning on. Ha ha you may have to lie down the view my pic--it's the best I can do. That's my son walking along looking very official.
