The morning was taken up with the film festival preparation meeting for the volunteers and this was very productive. The university group covered my lunch and travel experiences
After lunch I had my annual 1 to 1 meeting, a chance to talk to a member of staff about what I am happy about and what needs fixing in department policies, (most such concerns are then largely ignored) and my hearing doubled up as my grievance hearing regarding a volunteer blocking me from participation in classes, as well as a staff member who seemed to think teasing me and making me uncomfortable at a wedding event attended by myself and his other work / volunteer colleagues.
I refused point blank to have two bosses on my 1-1, especially as one of them was the very man I had issues with so the man I had to accuse of targeting me for mean comments at the wedding had to wait outside for most of it.
The lady who has actually been seen, but they decided she can't apologize to me without my consent to her. Instead of telling me this they left me in a complete vacuum on the matter.
The staff member eventually came back in when I got on to challenging his unprovoked verbal ram-raid on me at the wedding. He flatly denies it happened so it is reduced to his word against mine. His boss (the bride at the wedding) and I agreed to just starting afresh as I am OK as long as there are no future incidents, but he wants to think about whether he can ever work with me again. I think he needs to grow a pair. Meanwhile it is over. I felt like I was on trial here. My concerns with the other volunteer were apparently reported independently by a witness or that too might have ended in a stalemate.
The implications of his reluctance to work with me remain to be seen, but at least everything is now relaxed again. Their handling of this has been less than exemplary.

I hope you both can come to an agreement and end any awkwardness.
