Sometimes you just get the craving, and I LOVE Chinese food. So, the wifey and I decided to order some for delivery. We ALWAYS go overboard with it.
Ordered one combination platter of Beef w/broccoli with pork fried rice and and egg roll. That's mine. The wife likes General Tso's chicken, and hers was with pork fried rice and an egg roll.
Also ordered a quart of shrimp fried rice, two orders of 5 chicken teriyaki on a stick, and a 21 piece fried shrimp side.
Plus, we had a coupon for 8 free crab rangoons with an order of $20 or more which we definitely met.
Should be here any minute and it will be DELICIOUS. Can't wait.
Spent over $54 with tip, but worth every single penny.

We have a Chinese restaurant in town that has a great buffet. Sometimes, we will call in and then go pick it up and take it home. We usually spend 20 to 25 dollars when we do that.

@HazySue No, they all have a different way of making something. The place we go to now that we're here makes it very much like our old favorite place did, and most of my favorite Chinese places throughout my life. They do their chicken teriyaki on a stick much different here for whatever reason, and all of the restaurants seem pretty consistent. They were MUCH better in Wisconsin.

Chinese food IS one of those things you have to find just the right place. When we lived in West Allis, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee, we used to always get it from Peking Garden. They just had the best in town. Now we get it from a place called China King, but we had to try a couple of places before we settled on this one as being the best.

Oh, Chinese food, I will always have a place in my stomach and my budget, I don't know what mystery it has, but whatever it is is delicious. I hope your wife and you enjoyed those delicacies.

Sounds like a very big and delicious meal ahead for both of you! Tonight it's tofu, with cooked veggies and fresh veggies and maybe some rice.

The place my hubby and I enjoy has really good beef fried rice. Mike likes the shrimp fried rice. We'll usually get a main entree and share or save for the next day. Enjoy
