I got up later than I would've wanted to because of the Friday night date with my princess plus I was tossing and turning during the night for some reason. Hubby was already gone on his weekend game of golf when I woke up around 10:30 am. I quickly got up to see if my little girl wants breakfast. Well she was still asleep, lol she must have been so exhausted.
Anyway I woke her up we had breakfast together and got ready for food shopping. She usually wants to just stay home and chill, but 2 weeks in a row that she came food shopping with me which I really enjoy. I like it when she gets involve in planning our weekly meals suggesting which vegetables and fruits to buy what we should cook for dinner.
My Izzy is growing up so fast and at 13 she's so mature in thinking.
She started to eat healthier and gave up most of the unhealthy junk foods that she used to request.
She was so hard to feed up to last year such a picky eater, but since turning 13 she started to try more of the healthy stuff, she's eating more vegetables, drinking only water and fruit juice and even drinking almond milk now. She still eat some treats sometime but always check the recommended serving. I am so proud of my little girl!

@GardenGerty thanks. Yes she's been thinking about her health and wellness, her reasoning is if you eat well you will live well think well and do great things.
