The effects of any types of diabetes are chronic disease fall in the patient physical health. Diabetes is a strong predictor of coronary heart disease in older people. Diabetes associate with other risks and conditions including hypertension and vascular disease.
Type 2 diabetes is also one of the common causes for blindness. End stage kidney problem at any age group for this disease. Diabetes has many associated risk and complication that lead to multiple impacts on functioning.
Cognitive dysfunction is another serious problem for older people in diabetes. This is can damage people self care behaviors. The relation between cognitive change and diabetes may be through cerebral disease.
Inflammation is common disease in diabetes this is also for cognitive dysfunction. Care of the older adult with diabetes is a challenge for the clinician, the patients and the family of the patients.Today medical science is very developing so that patients can cure very quickly.

In my opinion diabetes should be controlled by the patients by doing exercises and taking diet..
