If there is one thing that people may not know about the kindness of police officers is that when a member of their team passes away in the line of duty, they do what they can to comfort the pain of the children of the officer who lost his life doing his job to serve and protect his community. Caden Dixon who is 9 years of age who was reluctant to attend his first day f school at the Enota Multiple Intelligences Academy in Gainesville Georgia since his dad died trying to prevent an auto robbery on July 8. Sergeant Charles Hewell enlisted several deputies to escort Caden to school on his first day which eased his pain. Sure the loss of his dad who was 28 years of age will hurt for a long time for Caden and his younger brother Colt who is four months of age. However he will have friends in the police department who will do their part to assist him and his relatives to keep moving forward since there will be brighter days ahead in his lifetime. The four suspects who were involved in the alleged crime are now in custody after the police managed to take them down after the incident that ended the life of the officer. Sorry it was it a very happy story today. I can't win them all.

It was very nice for the officers to accompany this young man to school and even nicer for the Sergeant to send them.

It will ease the pain of Caden to be able to go to school on the first day for the school season.

That is true since his dad is gone but not forgotten.
