Do you follow superstitions?

I have heard that many people still follow and believe in superstitions.We are living in the era of developed science era and use many such things which have been invented by scientists but still believe in superstitions,Is it not shame for us. We believe rumours easily without using our brains.God has gifted us brain to think but when we follow superstitions we never use our brains. Francis Bacon writes- Superstition is the reproach of the deity. M.T.Cicero writes- Superstition is the senseless fear of God. Joseph Lewis- Superstition is the poison of mind. I can understand it well if a sheep follows blindly but it is beyond my understanding why the people who have developed brain follow superstitions blindly? It is also a shame that even the educated people follow it blindly. I think he is not blind who has no eyes but he is blind who follows something blindly. What do you think about it?
