Seagull like birds..

I don't know how come those birds are here in this part. I get it that we have flood here and lot of different birds found their way around here.. But these birds are different kind of sound like seagull but they are not seagull.. They make sound at any time of day or night.. they kind of wake up at 5am in the morning and even make sound at 2 am....
I knew that such birds migrate from sea area to sea area but we are like 500km away from sea.. I wonder if they came for fish or something else during the flood times...

The seagulls always used to come and feed off of whatever we left out at lunch at school. In high school we gave a lot of them names.

@skysnap well, more like a slough--but the seagulls know where the food is, and they come further inland if the sea/ocean is stormy.

Seagulls was all over my middle school. I was even popped on (my jacket).
