Ever since I got sick my sleeping routine keep changing. During my first year as a Dialysis patient, I can’t sleep the whole evening and I can only sleep during the morning and it goes on and on. Then it changes again, after dinner I can easily fell asleep and wakes up in the middle of the night. Then could not sleep back. Now, I can sleep an hour or two then wakes up, then sleep back after doing some thing, then wakes up again it’s either an hour or two. Until I reach morning, after having my breakfast I go back to sleep, the least is 4 hours. Do also have this kind of sleeping routine?

I really am not familiar with the effects of dialysis to our sleeping patterns. I think for the 24 hours we only need to have a complete rest for 8 hours only. I do not know if that needs to be straight or you can do stagger sleeping for as long as you complete the 8 hours. Maybe ask your doctor about it if the treatment is affecting your pattern.
