Before it got TOO hot...

Photo I took of the thermometer on the back deck

I took Angel for a long walk, then did some much needed cutting of weeds in the backyard, spraying what was left with Spectracide after I cut them to the ground, and filling the 12-gallon Rubbermaid can before I took that can and dumped it in the big green can that goes out on Tuesday. After I was done I was a bit sweaty, so I figured I'd better get inside. I took a photo of the thermometer on the back deck before I went in. It's not to the 100's yet, but I'm sure that it will get there. For now I'm going to stay in. After I post this, I need to go and get the folder I'm keeping the story I'm writing in, and type up what I have of the next part. Hope you're having a great (and cool) day in your part of myLot land !

Ahhh, I'm glad you got some weeds done but didn't over do. I hope to do the recyclables Monday or Tuesday so we can take them in on Wednesday before we go to the two appointments. It might be cooler next week so I can get the work done. Until then I'll work on the miniature teddy bears that I'll put in the shop. While we're in town tomorrow I'll stop by the shop and reduce the price on a few items that have been taking up room that I need for other items. I also need to pay for my booth space...with my being "unwell" for the past two and a half weeks it's been a bit hard to get things done. I am still recovering from the seizures. There are a few spots that I don't hurt from the seizures but the areas that are still sore are important areas like the neck from between the shoulder blades to the bridge of my nose, my legs, my arms, my lower back, it's actually easier to list where I don't hurt. I didn't realize that seizures were so painful! The one bonus is that it puts a stopper on my appetite. I've dropped 10 pounds so far and have been dropping even more. I also don't have so much of a craving for chocolate either. Anyhow, enough boring you with my ailments. I hope you're staying cool and working on your story. I am half considering writing one myself. It would be fun to sit and work on a teddy bear story for adult collectors....HUMMMMM, that might bring in enough money to rebuild my home instead of waiting for PG&E to come up with the funding to replace it. I'm going to contemplate working on one for the next few days. Who knows what I might come up with. Thank you for the idea, you're a genius!
