I went ghost hunting............................

The photo is my own copyrighted by me, I may let you share it, if you ask nicely. ;) I went to Bath, specifically the clock tower in Warmley with my sister Pumpkinjam (I've forgotten how to tag), we stayed at a lovely hotel, The Old Mill in Batheaston. Bath is a lovely place, I recommend a visit. It's got a brilliant transport system too, it's got a bath in it, well probably lots of bath, but an actual bath spa (natural springs), we didn't go in the bath-spa bit though, we didn't have time. The ghost hunt was eventful, I'm always sceptical (I'm a sceptical believer). I never expect any activity (I've been on a few hunts, I've also done investigations). However there was a LOT of activity at the clock tower! I can't remember every bit of it, so I'll just tell you what I remember Pumpkinjam might be able to tell you more. So, we went into one of the rooms and did introductions and 'grounding', then we went and had a look at all the other rooms and had chance to nip to the loo and have a drink and a cake. We then started the investigation properly. (I may have the rooms the wrong way round, my memory isn't fantastic, hence the 'Dory' part of my name. ;) ). We went into one of the downstairs rooms, the host asked for the spirits to give us a sign they were there, after a short while the light up ball lit up in the other room (these are specially designed balls that only light up if they're touched), no-one was near the ball and there was no way anyone would have been able to light it up without me noticing. We then all asked if the spirits would give us a sign, then suddenly someone felt cold, then another person felt cold, then eventually it got round to me, I wasn't cold it was a really hot room, it was like a cold breeze as though someone had walked past me. Then we went to a different room upstairs and did some glass work and spirit board, the spirits did speak to us, there was a child spirit and a lady spirit. I can't remember what was said, but I do remember it was interesting, oh yes, the lady said she worked at the mill but she couldn't say what she did because it was classified war work. We then took a short break, then went to a different room one of the downstairs rooms, we all asked the spirits to let us know they were there, we waited patiently for a while, then some of us went cold again, I'd asked the spirit to give us a sign but to skip me and go to someone else, that may not have been the wisest decision.................................................... while we were all stood in the circle holding hands the hostess who was in the middle of the circle asked the spirit to light up or move the light-ball, my sister went to move forward, I told her to look at me and her eyes had gone weird like she was zoned out, it appeared she felt compelled to move or was pushed forward. Then there wasn't much activity after that in that room that I remember. We then went into a different room, back upstairs to where we'd done the glass work and spirit board, the lady spirit started talking to us again, she told us that there was a man spirit in there with us but he didn't like us being there and he 100% did NOT like me! We asked her if we should use the spirit board again and she said no. We thanked her for her help, then went to another room. In the other room they were already using an ipad thingy it lets spirits talk through it, there was lots of random words coming through, I started talking to it, I believe it thought I was evil, I think it called me evil (I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way. ;) ). My sister and myself asked the other ghost hunters if they'd attempt to use the spirit board, they tried it, but it seemed as though someone/something was blocking it from being used. I went to walk towards some stairs, then felt like I was being pushed, like something was actually trying to push me down the stairs, that was pretty scary! I was ok going down the stairs with other people though. I think that was everything, it's probable that I've missed loads out, but those are the ones that have stuck in my head. If you've read all of this, well done, help yourselves to virtual chocolate.
