I am not sure if the town planners think of this theory but it seems like many nations around the world think of planting the trees which hold the ground and take longer to get washed up by water..
I mean this sounds like a good theory to test out especially in those areas where the flood is likely to hit often..
so how was your Friday?

It is sad that our development and urbanization has not gone in a sustainable way. We have not thought of consequences while developing infrastructure and now we are paying for it in different ways.
My day was good and now I am relaxing with some TV and mylotting. Have a pile of clothes to be ironed but somehow not having the mood but would definitely do at least half of it before sleeping.

You are correct to a degree, trees do help hold the earth in place. Unfortunately it takes along time for most of trees with deep roots to get big and stable enough to do that but there are some faster growing trees.
The down side to these big trees though is that if there is too much water the ground can become soft enough for the trees simply fall over.

@skysnap They should start planting a variety of trees and shrub bushes, the deep rooting kind. Won't help now but the future starts now.
