out like a fart in a windstorm..

so right now i am..let say between jobs.i'm waiting for a new job to check my references,but it looks pretty good. my old job,i'd been there 3 years.the first two years were good.i thought "ok,maybe i can stay here til retirement".. nope. 2 months ago,my boss turned on me,everything was wrong. i wasn't the only one she did this to,but while i was supposedly a crappy employee,i had to help everyone else.and work up to 9 days in a row. i found out last month my scoliosis turned degenerative..my back now hurts all the time. so,i asked the old boss for my vacation. denied. can i at least cut down on number of days? denied. i had to put off physical therapy for a month because she wouldn't give me the day off. "why can't you go after work?" because they're closed,and i'm tired anyway. that saturday,i went to get up in the morning,and i was in so much pain i could barely move. ....F this. i quit. from what i heard,the other employees are pissed it came to that. they've been talking about quitting too. but,if i get this new job,less hours,night shift,and i'll have plenty of time to do what i need to do. sometimes,you just gotta jump off that cliff.
