Have you ever been sprayed with water from a moving car?

I'm a driver and I think drivers should pay a little more attention to situations like this, especially in narrow streets with lots of holes where water accumulates. While I was a pedestrian, they sprayed me several times with water, not a small amount.
Have you ever found yourself in a similar situation?

While driving, I see to it that I slow down when I come across a pool of water and there's a pedestrian nearby.

@mrki444 Yes and most of those driving in our city are undisciplined and have little respect for pedestrians. They don't stop on pedestrian lanes and sometimes, pedestrians are surprised when I stop to let them pass because they have been used to drivers who don't stop. BTW, our city has no traffic lights and traffic enforcers are undermanned.

@mrki444 Many times.Last evening when I was on my way back home,a speeding car whizzed past me The road was muddy due to water logging.Before I could protect myself,it splashed muddy water on my trousers and my left hand.

Unfortunately I have and it was not a pleasant experience. Some drivers don't give a care about pedestrians.

It sometimes happens to me. Last time it happened I was walking along a road. The was no sidewalk and I had to walk next to the road. I was pretty wet when I reached my destination.

@mrki444 I know don't why there wasn't sidewalk. It would be a very good idea. I think that some drivers should pay more attention to the pedestrians.

@Porcospino Not some, many of them. Many don't notice any pedestrians, even on pedestrian crossing.

@mrki444 I am not sure. I guess I am just grateful I have never been hit by a car. I don't know if they can always see the water. I probably assume it would always be an accident.

@Ghosthere2 It doesn't have to hit you. It can be bad if you go somewhere on some important meeting and somebody sprayed you.
