Health Report - Day 56

Today was a bit difficult in the pool and ended swimming with one arm with my rib hurting like it was, though not as bad as yesterday, which was good. I went into the fitness center and worked the recumbent bike without a problem. So the good news is, I still got my exercise in despite my rib. Yesterday's numbers are good. Calories: 1370 Sugar: 25.7 Carbs: 133 Protein: 87.5 Sodium: 975 Fat: 39.5 Calories Burned: Seated Leg Press - 99 Chest Press - 40 Row - 56 Overhead Press - 40 Ab Crunch - 40 Back Extension - 48 LAT Pulldown - 52 Total Calories Burned: 375 Total Calories: 995 As you can see I got a lot of exercise in the fitness center. Tomorrow I will focus again on the weight training, but probably not as much with the arms and focus mainly on the legs. Today was all aerobic. How did you do with diet and exercise yesterday? Good job! I only walked (slowly) for 30 mins yesterday. Should’ve done more but wasn’t so motivated.

@just4him I only had to snap and can as I bought these at the auction. But I still have 3 rows of my own to pick also.

@wolfgirl569 It still takes a lot of time to snap and can. I did a lot of snapping as a kid. My mother didn't can beans, but they did go into the freezer.

'twas'n iffy day fer me. that lovely barometric pressure decided to do a switch. did manage to get a few pics 'f a hummer'n a few 'nsects. did run the vac, sweep/mop, take rugs outdoors fer a good beatin', watered the plants'n what'd be left 'f the garden. went huntin' fer me some grapes 'n seems whilst i 'twas workin' here'n the house, some birds came through'n wiped 'em out. shockin' how quickly they can tend such!

@just4him oh, no worries'n the grapes. i figure they saved me from climbin' a 12 foot ladder, battles with spiders to get those 'p'n the trees. 't least they didn't go to waste, eh? there's a few that've not quite ripened. they're purty shaded, so'll be prolly 'nother couple 'f weeks. we'll see who gets to 'em first, lol.

You're doing good, especially your exercising at the fitness center. I've been playing catch in the yard every evening. Kobe loves it and seeing him happy, makes me smile!

@just4him Just be careful with that rib and your knees. Without cartilage will cause further pain.

I’m surprised your rib allowed you to exercise. Perhaps it’s just bruised and not broken. I ate like a pig since last Friday. Yesterday we picked up dinner at a local restaurant after our dermatologist appointment.

Today, I would like to believe it's only bruised, but when I move a certain way, I know different. I'll have my good days and bad days until it fully heals, which is a few weeks down the road.

I don't diet though I could. I worked so that was my exercise for the day. You are doing really well with your program. Good for you!

You did well. My diet was ok. I ate more than usual. I don't know why, but I feel the need to eat all the time. I am underweight and maybe my body needs a lot of food.
