Yogurt musings

At a recent, late night grocery store trip, I saw, on sale some yogurt . Chobani "Gimmies". (As pictured) Now normally I don't like "stuff" in my yogurt but if it was the blue striped container or if it was the wacky flavors (Rainbow Sprinkle Cone and Cotton Candy) - I decided that I would spend the $1 each to try. Very pleasantly surprised. The flavors are delicious and the mix in actually make it feel like a much more decadent desert, than it actually is. And this whole experience got me to thinking about yogurt. Do you like it? What kinds? Or perhaps you don't like it at all. Photo:Mine

Never seen that kind before....sounds tasty! I like vanilla yogurt, or plain if I can add in my own flavoring. I usually add chocolate chip cookie dough flavor! I only get full fat greek yogurt since it has the least carbs.

@FayeHazel That's great to hear! And I buy torani syrups....and they have a lot of sugar free ones....but a lot of regular syrups too. I just add a few squirts of it and mix it up :)

@DianneN Oh interesting, it's funny cause someone I know who doesn't like yogurt has described it as flavored sour cream lol

I like it to a degree but mostly it needs to be a bit sweet for me - which negates the goodness pretty much.

@FayeHazel I would think not - but you never know!! I don't think I've ever had deep fried green beans.

I don't mind yogurt from time to time, but it ranks extremely low on my list. I'd never buy it for myself. But sometimes if the wife has some in the fridge I MIGHT grab one in a moment of desperation.

Hm. I can relate. Sometimes it's the last thing that would interest me. Other times, like now it seems to be all I want

@FayeHazel It is never something I grab wanting it. It is always something grab because it is there and it sounds good at the moment.

I love yogurt but am not a fan of Greek yogurt so I haven't really liked any chobani very well. This one does look yummy though and if I saw it for $1 I'd have to buy it to try. It is more then that here.

Oh yes, hardly made me think of Greek Yogurt. I think it was because the 2 weird flavors were left at the store lol
