Have Your Eyes Dilated Lately?

Good to be back home. The eye exam went great. No problems. Return in one year. He did dilate my eyes and I still am seeing a little fuzzy as I type.
Dilation is necessary as part of a thorough eye exam. It gives your doctor a good look inside your eye. It’s especially important if you are having eye pain or vision problems, or if you are more likely to get certain eye diseases.
And lunch was just ok. Tried out Panera's Bread for the first time. Not impressed. But now I know. I will stick with what I know from now on.
Now I will try to catch up with everyone.

I have not had my eyes dilated since I was a teenager. I wouldn't want it done as I would have to have someone drive me home and I would hate that. With no eye problems and perfect vision I have only had one eye exam since 2001 and it was last year.

Too bad you don't have insurance to cover the important things.

I have to go to the eye doctor every 6 months; and the last time I went, about 4 months ago, I got my eyes dilated. I hate the eye doctor!

@CarolDM It's the field of vision test I hate the most and which one is better #1 or #2?

I'm glad your eye exam went well.
I think the last time mine were dilated was in March. I'm actually past due for another check up now. I go to a glaucoma specialist, so I've had eye dilation many, many times over the years.

That is good to hear that the appointment went well. I don't mind the eye doc too much, except for that part (and when they used to blow the puff of air into the eye).
