Lizards are not poisonous

Before you start jumping me at about lizards make sure you do the research about them. I love animals but not a huge fan of our reptilian friends. I’ll look at them but I don’t keep them the close thing to them I have in my house are fish. We do have a bunch of little skinks that life around our house. We live close to the woods. I could walk outside and throw a rock and it would hit the woods. First you must know the difference between poisonous and venomous! First venomous is when something bites you putting toxins into your blood stream from that animals saliva. Poisonous is when you eat it. Lizards there is only three that are and you typically don’t se them in your backyard unless you live in the desert. Here are our venomous lizards iguanas, Gila lizards, and Mexican beaded lizards. So if hey bit you, you will get sick and might die if you don’t get treatment. Little skinks in your backyard are not poisonous.
