The first loaf of bread is finished

It came out of the oven almost 20 minutes ago. I can't wait to cut a slice and try it. It looks gorgeous with a nice brown crust to it. I have the second loaf in the oven now and am going to let that one get even darker. I love "well done" bread.
For less than $3 I have 2 white bread boules that are homemade and that will be delicious. There really is something to be said for cooking from scratch.

Good job. I like to make bread in the breadmaker sometimes, but it ends up so good, I end up eating way too much.

Never baked bread before. I don't think of myself as a baker. Yours looks appetizing. I want a slice.

@NJChicaa And cheap to make. A loaf like that at the store would probably be around $4 at least.
