Remember Barack Obama? The guy who said this:
"When you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody"
And this:
"At a certain point, you've made enough money"
Apparently he doesn't think his own words apply to him. Remember, he already has a walled mansion in Washington, DC and a nice house in Chicago.
Another case of "Do as I say, not as I do."
Barack and Michelle Obama are in escrow for a remarkable, mega-expensive, Martha's Vineyard estate.

I'm glad they've bought a nice place. I hope they continue to do good things. Their house in Chicago was near mine (my parents', actually). It was a dangerous neighborhood (due to nearby bad neighborhoods), but also a nice one. Many old brownstones.

Well, I would disagree that they've done good things and owning so many houses when you make a habit of telling others to give away their money is hypocrisy. However, their Chicago home is in Hyde Park, one of the nicest and safest parts of Chicago.

@TheHorse You must not have been to Chicago lately. I live on the north side. It is no longer safe even areas that two years ago had almost no crime. There have been tons of robberies, assaults, rapes and murders. There is a major gang war going on. It is no longer safe at night.
