Trump hereby orders American companies

Another day, another stupid statement by the Mad King President. China announced $75 billion in tariffs on American products in retaliation for Trump's previously announced ones going into effect next month and in December. Of course Trump then had a Twitter meltdown.
He tweeted that he "American companies are hereby ordered to immediately start looking for an alternative to China. . ." Sounds good, right? The problem is that he has absolutely no authority to order American companies to do ANYTHING.
Of course he is getting roasted on Twitter now. #Iherebyorder is trending and people are hereby ordering Trump to resign, they are hereby ordering their cat to stop waking them up at 6am, they are hereby ordering their bosses to give them a raise, etc.
He is such a clown.

As the Presient, he has no authority whatsoever, over any American companies! Since when, is he their boss?

It was on the News here the only bit I saw that he and others will be in France and there are already huge traffic backlogs but I did not know what he had told the American Companies what next I am thinking.

Reminds me of the classic Holy Grail scene.
"Be quiet. I order you to be quiet!"
"Order, eh? Who does he think he is?"
"I am your King."
"How'd you become King? I didn't vote for you."

It's almost like he said "I have a pen and a phone and I know how to use them."
Why are you worried about something that is meaningless. Yes, Trump said something idiotic. At least he knows that there are only 50 states, something hi predecessor didn't. At least he doesn't tell people how much money is enough for them while he goes out and buys his third huge house on 29 acres of beachfront property.
Yes, Trump can be an idiot at times and this statement certainly was an example but Obama was an idiot every day of the week and twice on Sundays. He almost destroyed the country. I'll take Trump with his flaws over any of the Dems running for president.

@NJChicaa Just pointing out that what Trump did this morning, although stupid, was not unprecedented. At least Trump only talked about exceeding his authority. Obama actually did it. For years he said that he didn't have the authority to order DACA. He was right. He didn't have the authority. Then he ordered it anyway.
