Self evaluation

This is something that we do twice a year at work and even when it’s my fifth year already, I still can’t get used to doing it. It takes me too long to finish giving myself a score and writing an explanation for every performance measure. After we submit this, the superior then reads it before they give us a score. Sometimes I think why we have to do it. Why not just let the superiors do it and after they give us a grade let them ask discuss with us and there we can defend our performance. I don’t want to evaluate myself and let someone read it. Is it just my introvert self who doesn’t like it?

@weevee18 Thats is fine because our self evaluation can be something that we need not feel comfortable sharig with others how we do it.

@avi256 This is not what the user wanted to pinpoint here. It was not something for himself, but for his superior.

I think self evaluation should be done within ourself, within our mind or may be if in some cases ,we have some mentor.

I don't like self evaluation haha! It's hard to evaluate ourselves than being judge by others haha!
