My friend Adam is an “Apple fan”, he has used Apple’s iPhone for more than ten years since 2007. he bought IPHONE X this year earlier.According to apple's official website and sales page,He was known that this mobile phone could stay under water maximum depth of 1 meter up to 30 minutes, but he has not been experienced. Last week, While swimming in the pool, Adam thought about trying his iPhone X to take photos underwater. He said he put the camera about 3cm below the water and did not put the whole phone in the water. And the camera only stayed under water for about 2 to 3 minutes. Then he found the camera was flooded and the facial recognition function not worked. Adam put the phone into the rice to dry, but the phone went dark during use. He sent the phone to an apple store for repair, and the after-sales staff said”Splash, water, and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear.Liquid damage not covered under warranty. ” At last Adam had to pay for all the repairs,he said to me that in 2016 he had also had his iPhone7 photographed in the pool and it's still working.
