Do you lose weight when you are stressed?

I noticed that I lost 2 kg in the last weeks. I was very stressed. I ate less than usual. I am already underweight and losing more weight is not good for me. But when I am stressed I can't eat much. Do you lose weight when you are stressed? Can you eat as much as before if you have a stressful period of time?

I gain weight if I am stressed because I eat sweets to calm my bad mood.

There are definitely times, when I do lose some weight I'm stressed. Sometimes I don't eat as much. However there are times when I stress eat. I guess it depends on my mood.

@dodo19 I will have to force myself to eat more. Stress is so harmful to us.

I tend to be a stress eater. When I'm stressed I eat the comfort foods I should probably avoid. No if I'm really, really busy I tend to forget to eat.

I think Yes because in stress we not like to eat much as well as in thinking too much burn things fast inside our body.

I lose weight when I have depressions and when I am in a stressful situation. I can't eat much, and I am not interested in food. I try to force myself to eat something, but I don't really want to.

I have a previous relationship and they told me that I'm so thin maybe it's because that relationship is full of stress and argument that made me lose interest to eat

I can't understand why some people eat more when they are stressed. I eat more if I am in a good mood.

I'm not because I'm skinny. Well then this is the answer for those who want to slice some kilos from their body.

They should eat less. Are you skinny because you are stressed? And if you are stressed can you eat as much as before?
