Am I Crazy, or What?

When I lived in California, I went on a pyramid tour in the late 50s or early 60s. We paid, and a guide took a group of us on the tour. There were four of us and four or five other people in our group.
The guide pointed out the different features and gave facts about the pyramids and their inhabitants. In the middle of the tour, they doused the lights and relit after a few minutes and finished the tour.
I want to write an article about this and can find no information. I can't find anything on google, youtube, or the Rosicrucian society who I emailed and asked. I thought the tour was sponsored by them as they had a museum in the city where I lived.
Am I crazy? Did such a tour even exist? Have you ever been on one? Where? What do you think?

Thank you for this information.
I was sure that we went to the museum in San Jose. I never thought of tomb tours which would be about the same thing. I will have to find it on youtube and see if it looks familiar but it was a long time ago. I tried the interactive but it did not work for me.

@CarolDM I found two on youtube. The first was a teenage vlogger who skipped the tour because she thought it looked scary. The second was a guided tour of school kids. The guide was very bossy and the kids disrespectful and not listening. They did not turn off the lights on this one.
I think it is pretty much the same tour except the one I was on was guided by an old guy and open to the public. Thank you so much. It means a lot to me and I can write my story now.

Oh, hope you got some information. Sorry I'm very new to the place, so I could hardly help.
However, it's an interesting discussion to me. We're also having plans to take a tour when we get some free time. Might be this pyramid tour could be of help. Thanks a lot.

@akalinus Oh I see. So if we search for Tomb tours we're getting a handful of search results. Let me check that and plan for something in the future.

@smileyhema The Tomb Tours are given by the Rosicrucian Society. They have museums in several cities. The one I went to was San Jose, California. I don't know where the others are. So start by looking up Rosicrucian Society. I don't know if the tours are available from any other organizations.
You can also watch a couple of them on youtube. Just type tomb tours in the search bar.

You are not crazy , you and your companions were just victims that time. Better forget it to avoid heartaches. Those guides were cheaters.
