You spend 1/3 of your life IN BED

How true is this really?
If for example, you sleep 8 hours a day, constantly, then sure, we can definitely say --- tehnically --- that one-third of your life is in bed.
But for some of us who don't get 8 hours of sleep regularly, I'm guessing, more or less, spend 1/4 of our life in bed and 3/4 is spend living the rest of it outside of bed.
Or for people who in fact, work from their bed (online jobs or whatnot), they can actually be living more than a third of their life in the comforts of their bed.
All this talk about beds is making me sleepy. Hahaha

Unfortunately it's a necessary evil. We must give up 1/3 (or less or more) of our lives to sleep.

@LindaOHio 1/3 of our life giving our body a change to repair itself seems reasonable.

@Ghosthere2 Yup. Gotta have that REM to keep our brains in sync.

Oh gosh! Now I am going to have to track of it for a week or two and see how much time I am in that bed. I read and write in bed often. I don't get much sleep. I am going to keep track and see. Anyone want to join me - keeping track that is!

I stay up all night and then fall asleep when I least expect it for an hour or so. Really hard to keep track; but good luck with your project!!!
