Does it taste good? I heard that it's one of the best varieties of cheese and so far, I've only heard this from one person. I haven't tasted this camembert cheese, obviously. So to anyone out there who have tried using or at least tasted camembert cheese, what do you think of it? Is it really THAT good or is it just popular hype? I wanna know more about camembert cheese.

It's difficult to describe the taste of a cheese in writing! It's a soft French cheese that usually comes in small round boxes. I like it a lot - but eat it when fresh, because it does tend to get a bit smelly after a while!

How different is it from Brie? I always confuse one with the other.

@inkyuboz Similar in texture - although both can vary. Camembert has a stronger flavor than Brie, in my opinion.

@indexer I'd probably prefer Brie then. I love pairing cheese with nuts and dried fruit. Gonna buy some at the grocery later.

If it's one of those strong, smelly cheeses, I wouldn't be interested. Check on the internet for more info.

I love stinky cheese. Blue cheese is my personal favorite.

@inkyuboz I live in one of the counties where Stilton cheese is made - definitely my favourite blue!

I can describe it as a rockfor cheese but without the blue spots. It taste less salty, it has a smooth texture, it has fat, like a yellow cheese, but, it is white. I suggest you eat less of fat cheese and more vegetables.
