I´m drinking my first cup of coffee. Learning to cope.

Today I slept better than a lot of days before. I decided to sleep in the other side of the bed.
One of my legs has less movement than the other since I had back surgery over 25 years ago. it is not a great thing but it is enough to roll over better or worse over my bed, depending on where I am. And I hadn´t realized this in ages!
I am amazed how we learn to eat better with our own body each day of our lives. I know now that I will take the plane to Aruba dressed with leggings and not with a pair of jeans. I know that I will take with me one of those paper masks to use during the flight. On my last trip to Mexico, the air in the plane destroyed my throat and I had no voice for 3 days
Now I´m alone with my coffee and mylot, pondering about how little things can mean a different and better way of living. Have you discovered any such things about your relation to your own body lately? Are you living better in any way? How? For me, taking out the tub meant a world of comfort at this time of my life.
See you at the site. I´ll stay here for a little while before getting ready for the dentist.![](/Content/images/emotes/hugs.gif)

I was left very well after surgery (over 20 years ago). But it was not as good as new and now, with other ailments, my new shower is much better suiter for my needs.

I don´t spend much in clothes, but I spend on shoes. Now I mostly use Sketchers with something called 'memory foam' in the sole.

Why is removing a bathtub beneficial to you?

It was very hard for me to get in and out of the tub because it was so high. As I just told, there is one leg that is a bit dumb.![](/Content/images/emotes/sad.gif)
