Do you believe Colours affect moods?

When I feel sad, I prefer to wear yellow. Though yellow is not my favourite color, yet it is said that this color creates a feeling of happiness and positivity. I believe in it as it really works for me. What you think? What your color when you feel low?

Different colors can and do affect our mental health in different ways... That has been scientifically proven.
If I am feeling down I usually choose to wear a light or medium blue shirt. It helps me stay calm and I can easily feel better about things when I wear those colors.

@debjani1 I could be mistaken, but I think how colors affect each person are somewhat dependent on each person's own perceptions. (I do agree that there are some colors that seem to be universal to the human race, but how a person sees different colors may affect him in a slightly or sometimes majorly way that doesn't necessarily agree with the group perceptions.)

I always feel good in bright, clear colours, especially red. It definitely lifts my mood.

Yes it has been proven color makes a difference in moods.
I like wearing blue or purple.

Wow! Blue is one of my favourite colour too. Am sure blue suits you the most.
