I posted 5 hours ago on facebook, I wrote my hopes for the next year. Now I see, a friend of mine wrote almost the same words, copied whole sentences and added a couple of emogies and some words of her own...
So, she posted it like it came from her mind. But I know for sure it is my writings. So, on one side, my positive message is being spread better, but, on the other side... I feel like I got robbed...I don't know what to think.

My friend has sent me a message saying that she didn't mean to copy. She meant to share, and that the media is free. She wrote that she and her son like me. I decided to leave it behind.

@LadyDuck Now, a year later, she posted the same post from last year and I got mad on her. I replied in her post with a photo of my original post from last year, and wrote that she had coppied mine. and now she recycle her coppied post. She deleted me from her friends list and she didn't admit and didn't deny it.

can be a bit flatterin' when someone echo's yer thoughts, but ya should'a been given the credit due fer such. i've read through the other responses/yer comments to such 'n see that'cha talked with her'n she 'pologized. my hope bein' that she deleted her post 'n shared yers 'nstead.
fer myself 'n many others, stealin' ones written words 'tis quite the violation 'f personal property. i feel the same 'bout the photos i share here 's some've stolen 'em, claimin' rights to such. usin' software to remove my watermark. 't jest aint a moral thingy to do. so sad this happened to ya, y'ave a mighty big heart to let 't go.

@crazyhorseladycx I guess we all have to be ready for such things to happen so if we share something, it better be something we don't think as our own, and we are willing to give it away totally, ah?

@stringer321 i reckon so, though we've 'lways faith that others 'd 've a bit more respect? 's fer my pics, i don't mind if'n folks ask'n i give permission fer such to be used. otherwise, i get a tad cranky. need to change my watermark where such goes 'cross the whole pics i reckon? though i'm quite certain that some'd know a 'fix' 'round that, too.

That is what we call plagiarism and I might call her up on it!! Make a comment telling her how much you enjoy the way she used your words.

Plagiarism is the sincerest form of flattery, as they often say. But still, I think your friend would have been better served to have just shared your post and then maybe added a few of her own words, such as "I agree," "this is great material," or "this is something we should all strive for." It could have been done tastefully without blatantly copying your material.

As long as it is not a personal post, I didn't invent something new, I posted a message of free love and hopes for the new year, it's ok. Everyone can copy, I don't care too much now.

@stringer321 a year has passed and she sent that post again. I didn't like that and it gave me hard times. I asked her to stop coppying me. She deleted me from her friends list. now I cannot see her posts.

@Nakitakona I know right. This is a jungle out there. Even here, someone can make a post similar to someone else's but with small changes. I now know that I want to post things I know I will be happy others will copy.

Ummm...I decided to let it go, my post was about helping each other, I will talk to her in about 12 hours. I will check with her what was the copying all about. I know her, she is nice, she is an art teacher and maybe she didn't know how to share or to credit me for the words and inspiration.
