I'm not arrogant, just nearsighted

I laughed really hard because two of my friends said I was arrogant. This happened just because I didn't greet or smile at them when we passed each other on the street.
No, it's not like that, really. I'm not arrogant, just nearsighted. Obviously, I can't see their faces from a distance.
I don't know how many people have said that to me. And I have also explained to them many many times.
Seriously, they should have understood

I have experienced that too. I can hardly identify the person in a distance. I do tell those friends of mine that I am very sorry that I haven't greeted them for I couldn't readily identify them.

It must be very difficult with conditions like that right? I became a little difficult to socialize because of it

@kasmakarim Don't worry. Just live that way. I know there are others who can understand you.

Sometimes I don't even recognize a person until close up because I am not expecting to see them.

@kasmakarim Right, I am usually thinking of other things or watching where I am going and who is around me.

Hm, that's right. Besides, obviously we can't pay attention to everyone who passes us, right?

folks tend to see schtuff from their point 'f view. they don't take consideration that others might've diff'culties.

I think nodding is enough, at least with that we aren't labeled arrogant

I think you're actually near sighted which means you can see things close up, but not in the distance.

Oh, yeah. Sorry, I miss-understood with the word I thought it means someone who can't see far because there is a word "far" in it
