I ring Mum up 3 times a week. It's a way of catching up and - generally - to have a good laugh because we share a similar sense of humour..a bit daft.
One example of this came a few nights ago during our usual chat and it all came about unexpectedly, this giggling lark. Mum had had a chat with a guy called Stuart from across the road. He's done a lot of work for her, mainly in the kitchen, so he knows him quite well. He's about 50 but could be younger, it's hard to tell, as he's very thin. Anyway, during our conversation she mentioned the fact that he and Mum had got onto the rivetting subject of soap.
"Don't ask me how we got onto it, we just did," Mum told me.
She then mentioned something that made us giggle for at least 15 minutes. She said that she'd asked Stuart if he used soap or "one of those Beauty Bars" to which he replied, "Soap." She then said, "Good for you..Beauty Bars are rubbish..(then to me) "not that a Beauty Bar would do HIM any good."
It was that last bit that set us off giggling. We couldn't help it. Her delivery in the punchline was so matter-of-fact it ended up being hilarious.
Well, it was at the time!

So, is Stuart more beast than beauty? Or is he so beautiful he doesn't need any help?
