Last day of summer vacation

Tomorrow I go back to work. It feels like school just ended but apparently not. This is bittersweet for me. I normally dread returning to work but having all of this time off with very little to do has not been good for me this summer. It will be good to be busy again with work and the gym. It isn't good for me to sit here alone with my thoughts for too long.
Of course all of this sleeping in will make it difficult to get up at 5 am again. I normally start getting up early like a week before school starts in order to get used to it again but I didn't bother this year. My depression has made me sleep even more than usual.
Back to reality tomorrow!

As you say, this may be the best thing to get you going. Hopefully you will be cooking for your co-workers.

Did you get your ready checked out yet? Are you able to return to work having that?
I do better when I'm busier too although I wasn't as bored being off this summer as expected.

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going! You are stronger than you think.

I agree with John Roberts, new goals will stimulate your life. I have found this works to alleviate my depression.

I think work will be good for you. It will be good for your brain to focus on something besides yourself and your own unhappiness. A divorce recovery group, and/or a therapist should help too.

I hope getting back to work will help you to stay busy and not think about the hard things as much.
