My fortune cookie

I went to the buffet today to eat. It was a rainy day so there was nothing to do and this is what was in my fortune cookie. I am trying to understand what this means. Does anyone have any idea what this quote might mean? Have you ever heard of this? I haven't and i have been trying to think what this means.

You've never heard of this? It's usually "You can't have your cake and eat it too" Which means you can't get what you want and expect it to always go smoothly. I guess, since this is the opposite, it means you can get what you want and expect it to go smoothly.

his may mean many things. Like what you want in this world may not be what is planned for you. Try to analyze what it is saying.

The easiest way to explain the meaning is to phrase it in more similar terms that is more easily understand. These two phrases will give you a pretty good idea of what it means: 1. You can't have the best of both worlds 2. You can't have it both ways. Basically, it illustrates the concept of having a trade-off. For example, I can't go out and party all night long, and expect to get a good night's sleep as well. Hope this makes sense.

It is a euphemism that tells you like this example: you can't spend all your money and keep it too. Or you can't keep all your eggs in one basket, meaning diverse the things you need done to be sure some succeed, because some will probably fail. That is the best way I can tell you my understanding.

As far as I could find out this means having two good things happen to you at one time. The other saying is you can't have your cake and eat it too so I gather you can only have one good thing at one time and I found a song about this too.
