Has anyone heard of or practice the hallelujah diet? It's basically a raw food plan, that claims it's based on versus from the Bible. I'm not wanting to get into a religious discussion. Just share the info that has some really simple basic raw food recipes. They do use oil, and some sweeteners. But no processed foods, very little cooking, minimum salt. Just super healthy recipes that doesn't include unusual or expensive ingredients.

A lot of people follow that diet and it seems that they are getting good results. I am mostly raw myself and focus on lots of fruit and vegetables.

I'm working on just eating healthier, I do like the idea of using just simple unprocessed food, whole ingredients, that can be home grown. I do like having some cooked foods like pasta, and beans. That's what I like about the Hallelujah lifestyle books, it gave me a lot of ideas.

It's a raw food lifestyle. Fruits, veggies, and they do cook grains and legumes. The book is by George Malkmus and the cookbooks are by his wife Rhonda Malkmus. I got mine used through thrift books. But they do have a website with recipes and information.

If you do a search, hallelujah diet, they have a website that does have recipes. Also to help converting to no meat search Pritikin Program, they also have some really good healthy recipes and some contain meat. But it is a very healthy website. I also have their books, the books have been around for years, so if interested you could find them used.
