Acts of Heroism of Two Filipino Cops

Two Filipino Cops Received Medal of Valor Chief Master Sergeant Jonathan Magan of San Lorenzo, Guimaras police station and Staff Sergeant Rodito Erpella of the Regional Headquarters Support Unit of the PRO-6 received the "Medalya ng Kadakilaan" (Medal of Valor) from Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, General Oscar Albayalde. The two police officers displayed their “heroic acts of conspicuous courage and commitment to the service” for saving lives of passengers onboard in one of the boats that capsized in the Iloilo Strait despite being victims themselves during the sea mishap last August 2019.
