As of 2018 it is the longest running game show on American television. 1928 - Dick York was born. He was an American radio, stage, film and TV actor. He is best remembered for his role as the first Darrin Stephens on Bewitched. He died in 1992. 1981 - Beyonce was born. She is an American singer, songwriter, producer, dancer and actress. In the late 90s she became the lead singer for Destiny's Child, one of the best-selling groups in history. Two of their songs: Crazy in Love and Baby Boy. She went solo in 2006 with songs such as Irreplaceable and Single Ladies (see below). Destiny's Child sold 60 million albums; and Beyonce has sold more than 100 million as a solo artist.
