Staying off Facebook

I have decided to give social media, with the exception of Mylot, a rest. I have family that just want to use me as their whipping post. I put them on ignore on messenger, so that they cannot phone me. I'm putting distance between us. I love them, but I feel very disrespected. I'm feeling better now. My social worker told me to get up and be happy like usual. Not to let people define me and disrespect me. The nursing home will handle communications between us. If they won't be nice to me, I won't talk to them. I actually feel better. It was so bad I was praying to die. I welcomed a heart attack or to not waking up in the morning. The pain was too much. Now I am enjoying these days that are separate from them. I love them but cannot go on like before.

Well, you know the best thing for youself. Meanwhile being socialized with the right people will definitely, will have to chill you up from those things weighing you down.

Anyone who is not nice to you should not be excepted in your list of friends.

I am glad you are feeling a little better this week. I think as we get older we get upset by more things than we did when we were younger. I am 77 and can understand you. Every once in awhile I get feeling like you but I try to talk myself out of it. I usually end up here or on facebook and chat with some of my long time friends.
