Have you ever given items that you think are good but have rejected?
If ever, does it hurt you?
At that time, my friend was having a birthday party and I gave her a present a woman's shirt which I think is very good and have a good quality. When I giving the gift, I deliberately did not write my name so that no one would know that I gave the gift because I thought giving without others knew it was a real good.
During the gift-opening process she said:
"How come this is a gift filled like this?" and she just threw it away.
When I glanced at the gift, it was a gift I had given containing a shirt from me.
I chose the shirt that was painstakingly selected well and carefully to make her happy but it did not happen.
Finally, when everyone came home from the party, I took the shirt again and the next day, I wore the shirt to the college.
After that incident I always thought thousands of times before giving someone a gift because it didn't want me to experience it anymore...

@kasmakarim It might, but you go away feeling good instead of bad.

@just4him Yes, I don't want to think too much about something that will stress me out

Doesn't that make them pretend to like it?

It does hurt of course. That already happened to me before and I never gave anything any more to that person ever again!

They should know the meaning of being grateful, for sure.

That was very ungrateful of the person! I am one that never knows what to get for a person when I want to give a gift. So, I give them some money with a card and they can buy what they want.

I was really shocked by it. I mean, I've never been treated like that before.
