Know What Music You Are Listening To!

Good morning,
We all love to listen to music, we must know that music affects your spirit whether you want to admit it or not. You can listen to gangsta rap, rock music,and worship music. However, listening to different types of music will do something to you; it's going to minister something to you. Music has a spiritual connection, it goes straight to the soul and many are being deceived allowing it to poison their soul and many gospel artists collude with demons and slap Christian gospel on their labels. Some of the gospel music today is not godly it is music that appeals to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. We must watch the music we are listening to in our home, car, and around our children. I love you and God bless!

The basic premise of Garbage In, Garbage Out pertains, but you will not convince people by attacking their choices. I had a college student stay with me one summer who became convicted and destroyed all of his worldly music. I like a certain style of music, even when it is not gospel, but it needs to be music, for me, that brings peace and joy.

What is wrong with gospel music ?
I personally used to love grange, rock, heavy metal, doom metal, now I like many songs with no specific genre. Gospel is very nice: do you remember the song "when you believe" (whitney houston an maria carrey)
That is the style of Gospel. It is about believing.
Is there any specific thing that made you writing that "many gospel artists collude with demons....?"

I always say what goes in is what comes out and I will always stick by that. =) I only listen to Christian worship music-music that follows what the Bible says. God Bless!

Some of your points are valid but it all boils down to the type of personality you have. For some persons everything they absorbed they display it, behavior wise,bare in mind not everyone is like that. I believe that Its always better to feed the subconscious with healthy things which is very true. Unfortunately the world is not all Good so we have to make adjustment for ourselves, some things are just out of our control.

We are free to choose whatever music we want to listen as long as it doesn't negatively affect ourselves and the people around us. Music is made to express ourselves dear.

Its not the genre of music one listens to, it is the lyrics that one has to be careful of
