My Cat Knows What I Am Saying

The past few days when I let Tony`s cat in to eat he has been clingy, not to Tony but me. I don`t allow him on the furniture, I am allergic, but he can come in certain room, and I do allow him to stay in and sleep of he wants to, till I leave the house, then he goes out. He was inside sleeping, under my feet, I got up to fix Tony a sandwich and give him his medication, the cat went to his fed bowl and began to meow, I looked at him and told him, "I have to feed Tony first." he fusses and I say it again. This cat then walks into the living room, sets down under/ in front of the t.v. and stares at Tony. Tony said "he is being creepy!" I laugh. When I give Tony his food, meds and drink the cat walks over to his bowl and waits, looking at me. Last night Another clingy day for the cat to me, its getting late and I am washing dishes, the cat sits just out of the kitchen ( not allowed because I don`t like to eat cat hair) and watches me. I notice and asks " Do you want out?" he stares and flops his tail up and down, then lays still, staring. I say " why you flop your tail like that?" and he flops his tail higher and more, then back still. I tell Tony to watch. I stood there and said " why do you keep doing your tail like that?" On cue he slings it back and forth, up and down. Cute right? I go back to my kitchen clean up and a few minutes pass, Tony said "come tell him that now." I walk over and look at the cat " why you flop your tail at me? The cat does the best tail flop and sling you ever seen. The cat also knows what his tail is.
