Happy National Hug a Hound Day! This falls on the second Sunday in September. Give your dogs or pups a hug. Your fur babies need your love too.
Here is the reason why today is National Hug a Hound day. Ami Moore, is an author and dog behaviorist. She wanted to make American more do friendly like it is in Europe. She also wanted Dogs to be accepted more in places like the mall and taxied outside of not being a service dog because typically in the US dogs stay home or can go to certain dog sports with there owner but not into the store.

It would be wonderful if dogs were allowed in more places, I do see that some stores do allow them if they are well behaved. I was at home depot one day when I saw 2 people shopping with their dogs in tow. I enjoyed being allowed to pet them.

Most of the US is no dogs allowed a lot of people ignore the signs and the signs are more for those that are scared of dogs also some people don’t clean up after there dog while out. Service pets are the only acception to that rule. Home Depot actually no animals are allowed unless they are a service dog. Most of my family still work for Home Depot.

Dogs are not to bad. Each dog has a different personality and a lot of people get dogs but they don’t get the right one for themselves. We are going to go through a foster system when we are ready for a dog this way a dog is placed sorb usbbased of there personality and how our house is rune with 5 different personalities.

Dogs are not allowed in certain places here in Jerusalem also. I used to take my dog with me when I had her but people did not like a dog being in their places of business. I loved to take my dog with me. Now, I have a cat and she stays at home when I go out.

We have the same thing in the US dogs are not allowed everywhere but in the Europe counties they are. US does allow what we call a service dog to go anywhere withbyou and they have to be able to do a task for you. So if you have a seeing eye dog they are welcome everywhere.

National Hug a Hound Day?
This is amazing, I have not even heard of this festival. Ok, forgive me for not being in the United States. If I can know about this festival earlier, I will prepare some related clothing or toys about dogs, and the sales volume will be very good. Aha

It’s not a festival. Not all days that are National are days people celebrates in the US. The day is for people with dog to celebrate them more being able
To go with you more places.
