This is not a whiny post about not getting my way. Its facts about how people are. I am a giver, especially with my time, up until the past few years and that is because I have Tony full time, however, I still try to help others if not with my time with food or a ride, a referral, etc. I try to not be 100% selfish. Many will say " if you need this or that done call me, I do this kind of work." but when I call they don`t have time. No they did not say they are working at all, just ain`t got time. They wanted to work right then, when they wanted money, not when I actually have work to get done. And now, I get the "if you need anything call!" since they know Tony is sick. Once again no one has time. The people who wants to come here Tony doesn`t want to be alone with them, not even 10 minutes. Tony absolutely hates the "drop in company" the unannounced, the 'I' was thinking about you when really they were thinking about themselves and their time, not calling like he lives to wait for them to just show up, expecting him to toss his day away, forget his plans. I am about to pull another phone number from the hat, see if I can get someone hungry enough to work a day or so, good pay and the work not so hard, I will even be the go-fer or assistant. I got one lady at the house now, cleaning, its not hard either, , mopping and wiping off the baseboard and window sills. She will make $20 for an hours work, if it takes her that long. (Thank you God the last tenant was clean) Wish me luck!
