Working With Mental Health Providers Who Have A Passion For What They Do Is Awesome

Over the years, I've worked with lots of psychotherapists and other mental health providers. And while I found that the vast majority of them cared about helping me as well as people like me, I got the impression that especially some of them clearly have a real passion for what they do. I think it's great to work with mental health providers who have a passion for helping their patients because their enthusiasm can rub off on many of their clients. I believe it can help those trying to combat their mental illness because it can give them added motivation to do everything they can to help themselves. And that's an important component in overcoming mental illness.

It takes a patient about five minutes, to realize if their therapist actually cares, or they're just filling a position. I had a therapist, who really cared about my recovery. He went the extra mile, to make sure I stayed mentally stable and positive.
