When Its Hot Its Hot

Way down here in Alabama it is still very much summer time, while everyone talks about fall and pumpkin spice, and those poor, poor children and men playing football! I am shedding clothes down to barely legal.
I had to go into town, HAD TO, or I would have stayed in the a/c all day.
I had paperwork ready to sign, got that done.
I stopped at walmart for blood sugar test strips and the bread, milk, a few veggies and oysters.
Since I was already hot, I walked the dogs and myself.
And Hey! It gets dark earlier.
What are you doing to keep cool?

Yes, our days are becoming shorter, later sunrises and earlier sunsets.
And in our part of the world, autumn weather is here.
I couldn't stand having heat, I love the break, although its an adjustment getting all of my autumn clothes out and tucking the summer ones away.

@andriaperry I wear a lot of 3/4 length sleeved tops at this time of the year and in the spring also.

I was looking at a long sleeve blouse today, I should buy it because they get sold out before I get to shop.

Try to stay cool by running the air conditioner at a reasonable range of temperature and staying away from being in the sun for a long period of time when I had to pick up the trash cans into the backyard this morning.

It is still really hot here as well. Fall is nowhere to be found...though I wish it was! Our AC is on.

@andriaperry Thank God no longer in the 100's but today we reached 98 degrees. Felt hotter with the humidity of course but I am over the heat!

@andriaperry We do not have A/C, but our hot days are not many. We almost need to heat the house already early in the morning.

Not that hot here. But after a couple of earlier days it was still very warm. I wear as little as possible.

Different parts of the school are better or worse for coolness. I try to enjoy the coolest rooms. At home I run a/c while I sleep.

It's not even that hot here in Florida. I have the fan going and some breezes coming in from the window. Hope things cool down for you.
